Early morning when the lake is super-still!
The best time to go fishing at a lake is whenever you can go. Just take plenty of cold drinks and sunscreen. And for some excitement take some fishing worms–something will bite on them–sun perches.
I have minnows and worms, and I am a ready to go.
if you are bass fishing you can catch bass just about any time of day but trout are another story its not that the wont bite in the heat of the day but its finding what they want to eat that day it seems that they are always changing there minds on what to eat
If your fishing for bass then go morning or around noon. Catfish go early morning or sundown the best for catfish is night! Hope i helped!! good luck!
